Friday night concert - Chicago Theatre

Truly a gifted person with such a beautiful voice. A singer-songwriter really captures the meaning of their songs. His style of music although lends itself to a more intimate setting than a larger venue. The Chicago Theatre is acoustically perfect but his personality doesn't come out in this setting. Maybe a smaller place would allow him to connect with his audience since he has very little to no interaction with those that came to see him. Too bad as it would have made the evening more enjoyable. I guess a singer-songwriter isn't necessarily a performer or entertainer. Glad I saw the show but wouldn't need to see him again. I'll stick to listening to him on my connected devices.
